Faith Is Intentional: Pass The Faith Test

What Is Faith? Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The dictionary definition faith is: allegiance to duty or a person; belief and trust in and loyalty to God: belief in doctrines of religion: firm belief even in the absence of proof. We cannot buy faith! We cannot give faith to somebody! Faith is a gift from God! Just like His grace and mercy, faith is given according to his plan and purpose because He gets all the glory. Faith is so important that, without faith, we have no place with God, and it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6).

Faith is Intentional! There are different levels of faith. You can decide to have no faith, little faith, great faith or unstoppable faith. But everything in life is connected to faith. Romans 12:3 “God has given everybody a measure of faith.” But we have to develop it. I’m writing my first blog because of faith!

Pass The Faith Test! The Old and New Testament, the words “test” means “to prove by trial.” James 1:2-4 “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” Many of us don’t realize it but within each one of us there is a mighty force working in our lives. It’s called faith! Faith moves mountain! Matthew 21:21 “Then Jesus told them, I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea, and it will happen.”

Do You Want To Be A Person of Faith? Faith is activating God’s Word. The Bible says in Romans 10:17, “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word about Christ.” The more we exercise our faith the more our faith grows. The more we read God’s word and apply the word of God to our lives the more our faith grows. It’s up to you and me!

Let us pray, Father in the name of Jesus we thank you for the word of God. We thank you Father that we are covered by your blood. We thank you that our faith is activated, our faith is increased and our faith is motivated. We thank you that our faith is intentional and we will pass the test. In the name of Jesus, amen.
